Glad I have this

Ok - I’ve lost a bit of motivation, I have the “Its my birthday and I can eat if I want to” attitude that I need to lose.  My birthday was yesterday and I haven’t been staying on plan.  But thanks to you, I am going to get back on track.  I still lost one pound from last week (even though I was lower earlier in the week), so at least I didnt go up. . .but I can tell I have been eating healthier.  I feel better and have more energy. . . Just image what I will feel like after I reach my goal :).  I am going to get my notebook back out and start logging my food WW Points.

Feeling Good

So I’m down a few more ounces!! YAY!  Its not easy being disciplined, but it is worth it.  Too bad doesn’t it come off as easy as it went on!!!  :)  I kept faithful with my WW Points yesterday and so far today.  I also walked a mile today at the gym and 2/3 of the time on an incline.  Thats all for now!

Feeling Motivated

I’m feeling very motivated today.  This website is a good reality check for me and so far :) is helping me be accountable.  I started the WW Points again yesterday and did awesome!  I didn’t go over my points and this morning I was down about 2 pounds.  That just proves to me how much I eat without realizing it.  I didn’t feel deprived, yes, my stomach growled a couple times before the next meal.  But normally I snack too much and don’t get the hungry feeling.  We have another food day again here at work, we also had one Friday. . . They have food day here for everything. . .birthdays, anniversaries (with the company), some Fridays, or just because. . .  But I can resist, it is worth it!  Its not worth even one little bite because I never stop at just one.  I have my Smart Choice meal for lunch, and I found some 100 calorie pack Nutty Bars I’m going to try, so I’m definetly not deprived :).

Starting Weight Watchers Points

Morning!  I am going to buckle down and start the weight watchers points again.  It really does work for me when I stick to it.  I usually start my ‘week’ on Wednesdays, but will start today and see what its like to weigh in on Mondays.  That might help me keep on track through the weekends. . .  I’m pretty excited I didn’t gain this weekend.

What is the best scale, yet affordable?

Ok, I think I need a new scale.  I have a digital Weight Watchers scale from Wal-Mart, that I’ve had for a few years.  I try to weigh myself each morning before I dress.  This morning each time a stepped on the scale (I usually do it twice to make sure I get the same reading) each time I stepped on it was a different reading.  The lowest and highest readings were over 4 pounds different!  Obviously I need a new scale.  Which are more accurate, digital or “the other” :).    Which is the best brand and place to buy (yet affordable).

ALSO, today is our team outing for the spring/summer.  We are going to a Japanese Steakhouse at 12:45 so we also had a Food Day since we won’t probably eat until 1:30.  These are so hard for me because its mostly junk food and sweets.  So far so good.  I am currently having my instant oatmeal. . .  Wish me luck :)

Getting Started - For Real

Well, I guess today is a good as any to get started - for real this time.  I ‘restart’ all the time and so far I haven’t gotten very far.  I had my little girl over nine months ago now and still have 30 pounds to go to get to my pre-pregnancy weight.  I have so many clothes that I can’t fit into. . .  I didn’t do very good today, but the day’s not over yet.  And I guess its a good day to commit to doing better.  I want to have more energy and I want to feel better about myself.
